CANCELLATION POLICY

Note: The cancellation policy of the property owner supercedes that of this cancellation policy for all leases.

‍We have different cancellation policies for different reservation lengths. All cancelations apply only to reservations that have been approved by the spot owner.

‍For upfront, long term leases:

· All sales are final for upfront, long term leases and not cancellable.

‍For normal leases indicated over two months long:
‍
· Upon completion of a sale, the buyer will be charged the last full month’s rent of the lease as well as a BUYMYSPOT service fee. If the buyer makes a cancellation, this last full month may be refunded based on the following policy.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation greater than 60 days before a lease’s start date:

· The buyer gets their last full month’s rent refunded, minus any processing fees incurred. The BUYMYSPOT service fee is not refunded.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation 14-60 days before a lease’s start date:

· The buyer gets their last full month’s rent 50% refunded, minus any processing fees incurred. The BUYMYSPOT service fee is not refunded.

· The spot owner will get to keep 50% of the last full month’s rent.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation within 14 days of a lease’s start date:

· The buyer is not refunded.

· The spot owner gets to keep the last full month’s rent, less any processing fees.

‍If the buyer decides to terminate the lease during the rental:

· The buyer does not get their last full month’s rent refunded. Previous payments are non-refundable.

· The spot owner gets to keep the last full month’s rent, less any processing fees.

‍For normal leases indicated under two months long:

· Upon completion of a sale, the buyer will be charged the full rent upfront as well as the service fee. 

If a buyer makes a cancellation greater than 30 days before a lease’s start date:

· The buyer will be issued a full refund minus the BUYMYSPOT service fee and any processing fees.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation between 7-30 days before a lease’s start date:

· The buyer will be issued a 75% refund of the rent minus the BUYMYSPOT service fee and any processing fees.

· The spot owner will get to keep 25% of the rent.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation within 7 days of a lease’s start date:

· The buyer will be issued a 50% refund of the rent minus the BUYMYSPOT service fee and any processing fees.

· The spot owner will get to keep 50% of the rent.

‍If a buyer makes a cancellation within 48 hours of a lease’s start date:

· The buyer will not be refunded.

· The spot owner will get to keep 100% of the rent, less any processing fees.

‍If the buyer decides to terminate the lease during the rental:

· The buyer will not be refunded.

· The spot owner will get to keep 100% of the rent, less any processing fees.

‍For spot owners on all leases:

· We strongly discourage sellers from cancelling a confirmed transaction.

· If there is a special circumstance or emergency before or during the lease and you must cancel, please email help@buymyspot.com with as much information as possible and we will work to resolve the situation.
